Areas of Practice

HURRICANE & TROPICAL STORM DAMAGE CLAIMS

Tornadoes, hurricanes, and thunderstorms are all accompanied by highly destructive wind forces, lightning, or hail. The damage they cause are often obvious but this is another case of a peril that may cause structural damage that requires an experienced professional to investigate. A Public Adjuster has the expertise to investigate and document damage beneath the surface.

THEFT & VANDALISM CLAIMS

The loss from theft and the damage from vandalism are often accompanied by a sense of violation due to the nature of the loss. A Public Adjuster is ready to take ownership of the process for you. We’ll gather police reports, get a valuation of the loss, and work with you to prepare your claim.

FLOOD & WATER DAMAGE CLAIMS

In insurance contract language there’s a significant distinction in flood damage. A flood is caused by rising waters and most policies do not cover it. Water damage has many sources and it is not the surface damage that is the problem. We investigate beneath the surface to get a true assessment and is reflected in our thorough damage estimates.

FIRE CLAIMS

The damage caused by fire extends far beyond the obvious damage. There is smoke damage as well as loss of property. In the course of putting out the fire the water used will cause damage. A skilled and comprehensive investigation is necessary to prepare a claim for your insurance company.

CONTAMINATION claims

Some homeowner’s insurance policies will cover the cleaning and decontamination of biohazard contaminate and damage resulting from a suicide, unattended death, crime, accident, medical emergency, and infectious disease.  In specific instances a Public Adjuster can take over this process for you as it can be a very traumatic experience and the homeowner may have to deal with other arrangements.

Appraisal & Mediation Services

When policyholders and insurance companies have a disagreement regarding the cost of repairing or replacing damaged property there may be a way for policyholders to dispute their insurance company’s offer. It is to invoke the appraisal clause or mediation which is their right according to their insurance policy.  When conducted properly, appraisal or mediation can be a very effective alternative dispute resolution option. However, not all insurance policies contain an appraisal clause and is dependent on multiple factors to each individual claim.
